RadiologyMate — desktop app
An offline Windows application for automated radiographic measurement:
Foot CIA (calcaneal inclination angle on lateral weight-bearing foot X-rays)
and Leg length (femur, tibia and whole-leg lengths per side, with left/right
difference, on standing AP long-leg X-rays). It runs entirely on your own computer
— images are processed locally and never leave the machine.
🌐 Open in your browser (works on Mac too)
No install, any OS (macOS, Windows, Linux). Runs entirely in your browser;
images never leave your computer. You can even save the page and use it offline.
Large long-leg films decode slower than the desktop app — tick Fast mode for a
quick (approximate) result, or leave it off for exact numbers.
How to run
- Download
RadiologyMate.exe and double-click it. The first launch takes a
few seconds to unpack (a splash screen appears — it is working, not stuck).
- Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” notice because the
app is not code-signed. Click More info → Run anyway. (A normal
SmartScreen warning for unsigned software, not a virus.)
- In the app, switch between the Foot CIA and Leg length tabs and upload a
DICOM (.dcm) file. Results appear in a few seconds; Leg shows all three
measurements at once.
Tip: use a DICOM file for accurate results — the models were trained on DICOM
windowing, so plain PNG/JPG may under-segment, and Leg needs the DICOM PixelSpacing
to report millimetres. Nothing you open is uploaded anywhere; all processing is local.
macOS / Linux? Use
Open in your browser above —
it runs the same models fully in your browser on any operating system, with no install and
nothing uploaded. The Windows
.exe is just a faster native option for Windows users.
